Rosie Middleton
Artist portfolio website
Rosie needed a website redesign for her portfolio website. She is a respected new music mezzo-soprano, composer, and collaborator based in London.
A major concern she had was how to combine the various aspects of her professional identity into one, coherent idea for the website.

Shimmy Shake Burlesque School
Small business website
Shimmy Shake Burlesque needed a website redesign, and needed support consolidating their e-commerce platforms from SimplyBook and BigCartel to create a coherent booking experience for their students/customers. They also wanted to emphasize their bachelorette party packages to generate more income for their business and modernize their image.
The main challenges were to restructure/architect the booking system to create a smooth experience for their clients, to decrease the effort of receiving bookings, and create a large amount of pages that were still easy for a user to navigate. This website was also made with a pre-made theme that was then customized by me.

Reuben Scott Walker
Artist and researcher portfolio website
Reuben needed a website redesign and migration from Wix. He is a singer, researcher, and teacher who wanted to have a website where he could highlight what he wanted his target audience to see, as his three audiences are very different.
The challenge with this website was to find an aesthetic that was low to no maintenance and not too flashy, as well as creating the most optimal information/story flow for his desired audience. Additionally, he needed some new photos to put on the site, which I took myself as part of the scope of the project.

Nishnaabemwin Dictionary
Interlinear glossing for an endangered indigenous language online dictionary
Nishnaabemwin (also known as Anishinaabemowin and Ojibwe) is the language of my people, and this dictionary is in the general dialect of where my tribe sits, also known as eastern or Odawa dialect.
As a way to give back to my community and use my skills, I supported the addition of interlinear glossing. Interlinear glossing is a way of breaking down the parts of a sentence and particles of words to display a direct and non-idiomatic translation, which is very helpful for learners of a language. A good example of interlinear glossing is in interlinear Bibles. Due to the nature of how Anishinaabemowin is constructed, this is particularly useful.
You can browse the Nishinabemwin dictionary to find specific examples of the use of interlinear glossing, but here is an isolated example of code which I wrote.
See the Pen Long Interlinear Example by holdenmad (@holdenmad) on CodePen.
I encourage you to learn this endangered language, even if you are not from this culture. Please send me a message if you would like more information.

App, IT, and Salesforce support for a feminist organization
The now defunct German organization focused on sexual health education in Germany, the USA, and in South African.
I supported them by volunteering my time to help structure their Salesforce client database, write documentation for their IT support team, and with app programming support for their project FAQYOU, which provided sex-ed workshops around schools in Germany.
